Description: Our balanced portfolio is designed for investors seeking to decrease risk and still maintain some growth potential. This portfolio is an actively managed portfolio that utilizes blended investment strategies. To accomplish this, the Jamestown Balanced portfolio makes active trades within a mix of index and high-yield bond mutual funds. These funds do not have any transaction fees. This allows us to trade in and out of the different funds in order for the portfolio to be nimble yet cost effective for you. The Navigator portfolio can use both long and short index funds along with leveraged funds. Trades can occur up to daily.

Objectives: This portfolio's primary objective is to abate risk while still seeking some growth.

While the Balanced portfolio is a blend of different trading strategies that do have actual results, the results shown are generated from a mix of actual and hypothetical results. The S&P 500 is an index, and is used as a benchmark to compare performance. The Balanced portfolio is not designed to track the S&P 500 and may deviate from its performance. The Balanced portfolio returns are net of all management fees and transaction costs. Past performace is no guarantee of future results. An investment in this portfolio carries a possibility of loss.
